Another WWII veteran...

. . . passed away tonight: my grandfather, Donald Hager of Massachusetts. He was 91 years old and served in the Navy in the Pacific during the war, then went on to become a successful engineer and father of nine. (Yes, you read that right . . . nine.
 )He and my grandmother, who was at his side when he passed, would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary next month. He was a good man.
