Voting straight Rs.

Here's helpful guidance for fellow voters. https://piercegop.org/judicial-ballotmeasures/

Here's the list of the Judges that voted to put 1639 back on the ballot. Several are running unopposed, however Gonzalez is opposed and Gonzalez apparently voted for 1639 and is endorsed by AG Ferguson.

Cross reference this list of representatives and their gun control grade, given by an anti-gun group.
https://gunresponsibility.org/2018-legi ... scorecard/

A few other helpful things I noticed. Advisory 19 was voted in by Dems and against by Rs. It's a tax increase. I voted against it, to repeal it.

Boy, there are some shitty "options" on my ballot:

  • 3 WA SCOTUS positions; all 3 incumbents are liberal hacks who voted to allow 1639 to stay on the ballot, and 2 are running unopposed; the only vote I cast was for the challenger to Gonzalez (I wrote in names for the other 2)
  • Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney candidate Adam Cornell is running unopposed; he is endorsed by Alliance for Gun Responsibility and says he has "worked to reduce the epidemic of gun violence" ; again, I wrote someone else in
  • 3 South District Court positions, all with unopposed candidates; one candidate's page in the voter's guide has zero info about him

My options for a State House Representative are awful...

Liberal Democratic woman who, even the Seattle Times says is worthless & did nothing in her 5 years there, or a guy that says he's Republican, but has lied about his job description, and is a lazy fuck at work and tries to get other people to do his job...

And getting along with people is NOT his forte...

How is he going to get anything done, even if he gets off his lazy ass?

Sometimes the best we can hope for is for them to do nothing

Sad

Bumping . . . PLEASE VOTE if you haven't already! We need EVERY SINGLE BALLOT to beat 1639 and to win some of the other measures.

I know weekdays are hectic, and we're almost down to the wire. Please take a few minutes RIGHT NOW to complete the ballot!

True story. I had some very nice Democrats come to my door today, making sure that we had voted. They were of course ready to answer any questions that I might have. :rofl9:
