I'm a political news junkie, I admit it. I came across some news article's describing how Blacks, and people of other color are getting fed up and leaving the Democratic Party. I got real excited about the (I hope) movement that is coming. It makes me feel good to be an American. It has started with very humble beginnings, with a young woman, a former police officer, and a comedian, all of which happen to be black.
I don’t think there will be a mass exodus. While it’s true that Democrats are only paying lip service to the minority communities to pander for votes and perpetually oppressing them with their policies on welfare and social programs, the Republicans, despite being the party that freed the slaves and gave them the right to vote, have done nothing since to garner the black vote. What people trapped in a liberal or socialist mindset can’t fathom is that free programs and free money isn’t really free, someone else has to pay for it. Until we can break that cycle there won’t be a huge shift. What is changing is that more minorities are breaking through the poverty layer and they are starting to wake up to the fact that they are going to have to work hard to just get taxed more to pay for the people who don’t.

I seem to remember reading that Kanye talked about this quite recently (wearing a MAGA hat during the interview, no less). He has good reach, I hope the movement makes people think more critically about their political choices.

...the Republicans...have done nothing since to garner the black vote
That pretty much distills the argument
Do we want parties that pander? Parties that promise something that doesn't exist (your problems are not uniquely your problems, it's the system holding you down)?
Or do we want to get real, and understand that we are all going through this together
I'm not going to encourage black people to vote based on some false premise. I want all of us to be equal

You're never going to get in good with the Ds with that attitude.

President Trump’s approval rating hit 50% on Monday. This was 6 points higher than Barack Obama at the same time in his presidency.
And President Trump’s approval number from black voters hit 25% on Monday. This is a huge blow to Democrats who need around 85% of the black vote to win national elections.

as Reagan said in 1964 shouldn't we check the score once in a while? The policies of the left have failed, but the reality is, they were never meant to succeed, for if they did the people being helped would no longer need the Democrats....and thus the endless cycle we see
This is a good time for us to share the message of Reagan.

If only politicians could give a speech like this today...all of this is still true, and it's worth a listen.
