Now set to go head-to-head with the socialist candidate.

“The second round won’t be easy,” he (Bolsonaro) told them, promising to “diminish the size and power of the state.”

Tough to argue with that position.
Is this the candidate who is repeatedly lambasted for having been offensive (or worse?) towards women and minorities?

Quote:
Brazilian commentators noted last week that both candidates have high disapproval ratings. As of last week, Datafolha found Bolsonaro’s disapproval at 45 percent and Haddad’s 40 percent. Their task by October 28 will be to amass as much support as possible from among voters who supported the losing candidates in Sunday’s race, playing upon each other’s high disapproval ratings,

Sounds like familiar territory in a way.

Here's an interview with a professor, conservative, analyst with views on Bolsonaro. Pretty interesting.

Late news or something. He won. The run off was yesterday.

I sold all my Brasil stocks on the big run up this AM (sell on the news). Most ended down for the day, but it's been mostly up since June. SBS, EBR, PBR, ELP, and banks did great

Maybe buy a few back in the AM.

Spoiler: show

That confirms my suspicions of the coverage that Bolsonaro has received from MSM.

In Brazil and the US, democracy is at a crossroads

Trump of the tropics: the 'dangerous' candidate leading Brazil's presidential race

How Brazil’s Bolsonaro threatens the planet

"He's not only a threat to Brazil, but he's a threat to Western democracy."

That's what I was thinking. I thought the entire thing was over.

If you need any further evidence the left controls the media, you have not been paying attention.
