I have to drive down to Portland and back tomorrow morning to fix a coworker’s fuck up and I’m pissed about it. So I figure I might as well see if there’s anything I should hit between Seatac and Portland.
Any recommendations on either a gun shop, restaurant, glory hole (kidding) that I should stop at? I won’t really have time to shoot so a range wouldn’t be an option unfortunately.
Thanks.

How deep into Portland are you going?
There’s a nice shop in Vancouver, “Sporting Systems”. There’s a couple “ok” ones in Portland.
Restaurants.... don and Jo’s in ridgefield(it’s actually at the battle ground exit) has pretty good old school burgers and shakes. In Portland, fire on the mountain(wings), Kell’s(Irish food), the thirsty lion(English pub), acropolis, any food cart that looks good. There’s also a couple cracked barrels if that’s more your thing.

The Thirsty Lion is a great place, as well as the Oswego grill.

Highly recommend Grassa ( http://grassapdx.com/) if you want handmade pasta in Portland. Oregon Rifleworks, Southwest Main Street, Tigard, OR -- Cool shop, it's on the way to Portland and there's a 5.11 store nearby as well. No tax!

I 2nd Mike's recommendation for Don and Jo's. BTW, the owners are strongly pro-2A. Good people.

Walk into the Gun Room on SE Foster Rd and SE 56th Ave wearing an equality t-shirt and Glock hat. Better yet, go in there speaking in a heavy lisp and limp wristing while shaking their hands or pointing at stuff. You'll trigger those fogies real well.

Now you must remember Portland is a big s*** hole, do not spend a dime there please. Get in and get out. I second a stop it sporting systems in Vancouver, they have been Ardent supporters of no on 1639 and deserve a Hardy thank you.

Castle Guard Sports in Centralia is pretty impressive. Check out the map at the top of the page.
