Hmmm.... Maybe the statue was like a grandmother giving you a clock with Jesus on a cross, you really didn't want, and you are like 'oh, it's amazing, I'll put it right here so everyone can see it!'...... Knowing deep down inside you never wanted it in the first place because you're not a religious person.... But you don't wanna disappoint grandma who bought your first car....

I wish they would sell wall bricks, stones, tiles, panels or whatever with the buyers name on it...I'd buy into that.

Sure are changing. We used to screen people for disease and self sufficiency back in the old days. Now we import disease and hook immigrants right up to welfare.

President Trump has at least two routes to victory through a legal fight. It must be noted for both that a legal challenge to an executive order issued in November 2018 would almost certainly not make it all the way to petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court until after the cutoff in mid-January 2020 for cases to be decided before the presidential election, so this issue will likely still be pending when Americans go to the polls in November 2020 to vote for president.

The first route to victory is that the Supreme Court could hold that the specific provisions of the executive order are authorized under current statute. If so, President Trump wins outright.

The second is that the Court could hold that one or more of those provisions require congressional action, but could signal that the Constitution permits such changes. If so, there would be a massive push to tweak current statute. The American people will have been debating this issue for two full years by that time, and would by 2021 be educated by the Supreme Court’s final decision as well. This could lay the groundwork, such that the same political momentum that would secure a second term for President Trump could also secure the votes to change the relevant provision of Congress’s Immigration and Nationality Act.

All this would be happening as the president continues to appoint federal judges who believe the Constitution must be interpreted according to its original public meaning. President Trump may well have a third Supreme Court vacancy before this matter is argued before the justices, securing even more a reliable originalist majority on the Court.

President Trump has elevated a national discussion on an extraordinarily important issue that has been building for decades. He appears to be shaping the very battlefield on which he will fight, on a matter that tens of millions of voters care about deeply.

Yup. Trump wins on this issue. Most Americans support it. And with each illegal gang rape, DUI vehicular homicide, police shooting, etc. Americans get less supportive of illegals. More illegal voting will come about. This will take years to work through courts, and it's highly likely that that Courts are becoming more Constitutional and the SCOTUS will swing further right in the next few years.

Odds are good that the GOP keeps the Senate by a good margin, and might even keep the House. odds are good that 1-3 more SCOTUS Judges retire, and some of those being liberals.

Right now, Trump would get re-elected with his 50% approval.

This will be a big campaign issue, and Americans are tired of the bleeding of resources to illegals.

Take a long close look at this list of the Washington State Patrol's most wanted list. Spot any trends?
34 people on the list. Photos/names show about 4 whites and 30 hispanics.

http://www.wsp.wa.gov/crime/wsp-most-wanted/

Hispanics make up about 17% of the nations population.

Not scientific, nor racist, but geez, they make up 85% of the WSP most wanted...

Look at the DEA top 10 most wanted. https://www.dea.gov/fugitives
7 out of the top 10 are hispanics.

The southern border needs sealed, and tight immigration control or our state and nation are soon going to become Honduras...

I have no issue with Latinos coming up here and doing all the jobs our lazy kids don’t want to do, hell I don’t want to be out in the fields picking crops or in the backs of restaurants doing the dishes or up on a roof nailing shingles. What I do have an issue with is that they come up here undocumented and get social benefits like a citizen. We need a true guest worker program, we need a true immigration program and it will never happen because both sides want to use this issue to drive a wedge with their party base an buy votes. How far back does the president want to drive this? At one point his ancestors weren’t born here, where do you draw the line here? As far as I’m concerned if that migrant braves the borders and cartels and coyotes and get a crap job to pay for that one room slum in Pasco and drops a kid on American soil then that kid has won the lottery and is an American citizen. Yes there are bad apples in that group, they do horrible things, bring back the death penalty and fix that problem.

It is a myth that there are industries dominated by illegal aliens. They make up the majority in no sector.

Even taking into account the massive SSN fraud?

I'm sure 'Joshua Right' isn't working 18 jobs at 5 different farms across the country.

My mom is an accountant, she's seen firsthand, multiple employees using the same SSN....and she reported it...

Illegal aliens drive down wages for everyone else

If they weren't here wages would need to rise enough for workers to want to fill those jobs. It's basic economics

I want to frame houses but I'm not going to build a McMansion for $2.50/square foot That's what cheap immigrant labor will do it for though

May be the case, but do you want to pay $5 for a strawberry? How about $10 for an apple? I’ll pick apples for $20 an hour but that just means the price of apples go up. We need migrant workers or we will all go broke or go without.
