Exactly the reason I have no social media presence. Screw Facebook. My opinions are private and no one else needs to know every detail of my personal life, view into my daily activities, or know my opinions on political topics unless I choose to engage in a conversation with them of my own accord.
Employers have been using social media account reviews to discriminate against job seekers for a long time now. Here is the messed up part in my mind (stay with me now):
Our press and liberal talking heads have been so successful at demonizing gun owners and scaring people about guns, that the population would be perfectly fine with this.
