Well, at least stripped frames & receivers aren't covered by 1639 or 594, not to mention 80% receivers aren't, either. I foresee a rapidly-growing market in WA for not just AR and Glock frames, but other semi-autos firearms as well.

I-1639 is only the start, just wait until you see what's next. This is merely the tip of the Iceberg. Rights? Constitution? Uh huh, not for us.

I foresee a rapidly-growing market in WA for not just AR and Glock frames, but other semi-autos firearms as well. How much you want a bet there is a special election next spring to add those. We are looking more and more like England every day. The barbarians are at the door and the younger brainwashed generation could care less due to the indoctrination. Really the Republicans lost the battle 20-30 years ago when they allowed the teachers unions to run rough shod over the constitution and start indoctrinating their students. Is it any wonder those zombies now have had kids and we are on round two. Really most scholars really trace the rot where it began which was in the 60's. A sense of morality was pushed aside and the lack of that moral compass most used to have has completely left the planet. As it has been said, and I believe its becoming more true. These are very dangerous times. The end is coming. Those of you with firearms off the books so to speak time to start thinking about hiding them good. This includes any of those private sales you made before 594. Make the paperwork disappear where it can only be found by you in extreme need. The rest of those hand me downs time to put them away and apart from those the some FFL has on the books or where a NICS check was run. Those records are the next to be seized and used against us. Confiscation is coming just like it did in England. Reference: And to think this was written in 1999! http://www.guncite.com/journals/okslip.htmlMight be well advised to read again and remind ourselves why we cannot give in.

Hate to be defeatist, but with the Dems in near total control in Washington, and with 594, the new 10 day waiting period, 1639, safe storage laws, and AWB this state is a total loss. This isn't the beginning, this is a big step toward total gun confiscation. Deterring ownership. Prosecuting owners. Very dark days for gun owners here. This is now easily the worst oppressive state I've ever lived in. Unless the SAF files an injunction and wins, and/or the SCOTUS pretty quickly steps in and makes these encroachments unconstitutional it's done.

Yep, but considering that CA, NY, MAss, and several other far left bastions have been allowed to get away with just about anything. I don't see much changing.

Time to dust off the reloading equipment. I now have a reason to make some more precision ammo and hit the range to re-zero the precision Rifle. I guess it's time to load all those Mags too. I was really hoping it wouldn't come down to this. I'm to old to run, and to stubborn to give in.

Well, things broke pretty much how I expected them to, locally and nationally. Polls did a pretty good job this year.

Did any of you actually expect anything different?
You (gun owner) are a minority here. You are not liked. You will not be tolerated. You will ALWAYS be out voted.
Get used to it. Don't like it? MOVE AWAY. Like your career more than your rights? Stay here.

But moving away just buys time from a disease that pretty much was founded in CA, moved into WA state. Missoulifornia and Bozoman are now being flooded with liberal losers. I suspect its only a matter of time.
