F'ng deplorables. Hahahahahhaa!! I'll give you that one. Hopefully he gets down from the ramparts and starts figuring that out, pretty soon. Now yer just cherry picking. You know the breadth of the point I made, and you can't argue it on the merits of the evidence. So you choose to cherry pick some small part of what I said, to make an argument of. It was your use of Caps that triggered me. lol Sorry. I'll try to do better next time! If you need a hug, go see Ace and ask him if you can borrow his rifle. HUGS FOR THE TRIGGERED! ! ! ! ! !

Thats what people look like when someone says anything negative about the President. Somehow it became a bad thing to call out boorish, childish, and or manipulative behavior.
See? we should repurpose that meme and make it more relevant to the discussion at hand.

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/11/heres-the-full-letter-the-white-house-sent-cnn-activist-jim-acosta-banning-him-again/Quote: “We are writing to give you formal written notice that we have made a preliminary decision to suspend your hard pass due to your conduct at the President’s November 7, 2018 press conference. The president is aware of this preliminary decision and concurs. The factual basis for this preliminary decision to suspend your pass is as follows:
As you know, President Trump has provided and extraordinary amount of access to journalists to ask questions, while operating an extremely open and transparent White House. The White House does not have a written code of conduct for journalists participating in presidential press conferences. We had not previously thought that set of formal rules for journalists’ behavior at press conferences was necessary. That is because it had previously been a widely shared understanding that: (1) a journalist called upon to ask a question will ask a single question, and, having received a response, will yield the floor unless, at the discretion of the President or other White House official answering questions, a follow-up question or questions is permitted, after which follow-up(s), the journalist will then yield the floor; and (2) when a journalist has had his or her question(s) answered, the journalist is expected to yield the floor and, when applicable, physically surrender any microphone the journalist is using to White House staff for use by the next questioner. Three basic, commonsense practices are necessary for orderly press conferences that are fair to all journalists in attendance. They have served the public, the press, and the President well.
Your behavior at a November 7 press conference violated the basic standards governing such events, and is, in our preliminary judgment, sufficient factual basis to revoke your hard pass. While this is our preliminary decision, we would be pleased to consider any material you would like to submit in response to it. Should you wish to contest this preliminary decision or the factual basis set forth in this letter, please submit a written response to us in writing via email by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Should you not submit a response by that time, this preliminary decision will [be] final. You may submit that response by emailing it to one or both of us. We are happy to consider that response and any other materials you would like to submit before a final decision is made in this matter. Should you choose to contest this preliminary decision and submit a written response to this formal notice, we will consider your written response and will issue you a final determination in writing 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018. Of course, you will continue to maintain your hard pass while the Temporary Restraining Order issued on November 16, 2018, remains in effect.”

He needs to either answer the questions or stop calling on the guy. Pretty simple. Unless it's just a bunch of grandstanding to begin with. Maybe call on more Asians so he can make fun of how they talk. That would be a lot better.

Bobson I'll try one more time just to be nice. We can all agree to disagree without being a jerk about it. Take a look in the mirror and consider your actions. That which you accuse others of is exactly how you are behaving. The White house had to formally set in motion a procedure since the idiots in the courts seem to think they can make it up as they go. There are times I wish Trump would just tell the court to butt out. The white house pass is a privilege not a right. Since some people are just so self centered and self absorbed they have no respect for anyone but themselves its clear the rules were drawn up now to deal with idiots like Acosta. I hope that int he next week or two he goes back to his old childish ways and the administration cans him once and for all.

The kool-aid is flowing like crazy in this topic. So is massive amounts of rationalization and blame shifting.
Just accept the fact that Trump USED that guy. Get over it.

There's entirely too much dickhood happening in this thread. A couple of posts were removed.
Please step back, take a deep breath and stop attacking each other. This goes for EVERYONE posting here, since the dickness is being spread thick by several people.

I don't care WHO he went hands on with, but imagine that it wasn't a female. Let's say a secret service agent came and the reporter got handsy. Reporter would have been eating medium pile carpet for lunch.
Should he have been banned for being handsy vs being a douche? I'd have chosen the douche infraction personally. Regardless of the reason, the outcome is the same. How about stop trying to blame the action and start blaming the person. Very good summary... Yep. WaJim wrote: I think Acosta wants to be the Martyr here and take one for the team for the "Trump hates the MSM cause".
Yep. I had the computer shut off for a few weeks... This is the first that I have heard of it. I watched the videos. That is not doctored. Zoomed in and slowed down is not doctored in my opinion. Just semantics. I had never even heard of Acosta before this. It was a stunt. He did not assault her or even "place hands on her." I agree with Root that the WH and Press Sec should not have fallen into the trap of using the same language and fake outrage that the media uses routinely. Acosta won the exchange, probably entirely due to the mishandled (my opinion) response to Acosta's a-hole actions. Had the WH and Press Sec called it perfectly, Acosta would have lost as he should have. It's darned rare for anyone to call things perfectly though.

As I stated, the whole thing was a setup by Trump. and as PMB has stated, it backfired and made Acosta a martyr for the libs.
Trump is smart. Just not all the time. He lets his ego take over with sometimes not so great results.
