I hope and pray I'm wrong, and equally hope someone throws this thread back in my face! But, as Deep Throat said during Watergate..."Follow The Money..." Pelosi controls a ton of money that Dems need for reelection, and with her ego, she will still want to be Speaker of The House. That's why we hear things like, "some Dems are asking her not to run, as opposed to telling her... She'll be back... And as far as Hillary running again, same deal...they have hundreds of millions in the Clinton Foundation, and can bring in a ton more to the Democratic Party, plus, they have old promises to keep... She's blamed everyone under the sun for losing the election, except Jesus and her dog, so she probably feels like if everyone else doesn't screw up again, she's in.... Trump should hire Lewinsky as his stage manager for the debates...

FWIW, the price for presidency is about $3.2 billion. Not sure Hill-dog is going to gamble that much money to possibly lose again.

Hitlary's popularity is down at least 10% from 2016. And she lost then. I'm not worried. Most dems know she would lose, they won't run her.

They have a lot of influence. She spent over a billion on the last one, and even Wikipedia says the Foundation has 2 Billion through 2017. And then there's the article below, one of many, that talks about how the money is on hold, and doesn't really go to charities. All this money and employees aren't just sitting there for nothing: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/231363

The only thing that saved us, IMO, was the split ticket on the left. People still voted for Bernie...

The Democrats hate President Trump so much they will go center to try to beat him. They won't even talk gun control much even though that is their main platform. Well they will trot out the old favorite of the people, killing unborn kids.

Yeah, Hillary is toast...she's just the only one who doesn't realize it yet.
As for Pelosi, I welcome her back. The older she gets, the more bat-shit crazy things she says and does. There should be plenty of campaign ad material for 2020 with her as Speaker for the next 2 years.

I don't think the 2020 Presidential race will shape up exactly as people think today.
Perhaps Trump will have a "Medical Event" (he is old you realize) and will not run. This opens up the ticket so Pence can be the front runner and the R's select a more traditional running mate for him.
This may blunt the weapons of the "looney left" and leave the Dem's in the same state of disarray they are in now. This last election saw more people voting against trump rather than for Dem candidates. Remove Trump from the equation and all predictions are now invalid.

If Hillary runs again, sadly I think she wins. It just feels like everyone who didn't vote for her or Trump in round one, will definitely vote for her in round 2.
I hope I am wrong, but I just have a feeling that crooked woman will not stop until' she wins.

Has Hillary said or done anything since her loss to add voters to her side? I only remember a tirade about why she lost (it was everyone else's fault, if I remember correctly). If she didn't have enough supporters in the first go-round, and if she hasn't added voters to her side since then, then I don't know why the Dem party would risk running her again. But they've done stranger things, I'll admit.

Hilary is such a lightning rod for conservative she brought people to the polls to vote against her. And now since the truth came out how she bamboozled Bernie I doubt she would make it past the primaries. Besides there is also the chance she could still see club fed time. But I am somehow think that would only give her street cred and I am reminded that Hitler did time too and that only served to get him elected faster.

With the Democrats in disarray, and unable to even unify behind a House Speaker, the door is open. There's no real leader, and the splinter groups don't have enough influence, or money. Clinton can swoop-in, promise 6-figure jobs in her administration to supporters, and promise jobs with the Clinton Foundation if she happens to lose. She spent over a billion last time, and is probably the only one in a position to do that again. I hope I'm wrong
