I feel kind of guilty buying a gun online and getting a dealer to transfer it. BUT there are some good online deals and I was wondering if anyone knows a dealer in or near burien that would transfer suppressors and firearms I buy online?

Theres a home based west seattle guy. Dunno if he does suppressors. Check the FFL thread we got in the services section.

Don't feel bad you're paying money for someone to receive, record and transfer something. One could make a lot of money for that labor and not need much shop space if it's popular.

Robert Gohl of Sparta Firearms in Maple Valley will do transfers for $25. He is willing to check to see if he can do better on pricing and then you don’t pay the transfer fee

For suppressors, see who Silencer Shop has as a dealer in your area.

Class 3 transfers are usually a lot more than a regular transfer. Call and ask around. Rainier Arms isn’t too far from you, I’m sure they can facilitate a class 3 transfer

I use Rehv Arms for all of that kind of thing. They don't mind. But they love me for all the regular business I bring too!

Check out Jody @ Rehv Arms in Covington. I transferred a him through him and he told me he could have done that deal himself and it would save me the hassle of ordering online and doubling up on paperwork. My next having I picked up through him and it was as cheap as online and no transfer fee.

Just how much time is involved in handling a transfer? Anyone with the right FFL could make excellent money just working out of his house with enough people lined up.

Let's say they charged $25. Multiply that by 4-5 per hour and then subtract what minimal overhead one would actually have. No inventory to buy, no going into debt to finance that inventory. Biggest expense would be the cost of a safe to hold any firearms and suppressors for the statutory period of time (or until approval).

One thing, don't go to Cabela's for any transfer. All those people in the "gun department" standing around playing "pocket pool" and they figure they have to charge $50 for a simple rifle transfer and I believe even more if it's a handgun.

Another case of people in management being educated beyond their intelligence.

Here’s our thread on internet transfer policies at various FFLs:
