OK, some people like Google Mini, etc. Some use Alexa. Now Yahoo has their's out.
And then there are the tin foil hat group that wouldn't have any of that crap. So without giving away your name you can now pick from this poll on how you roll. Purely unscientific - just curious...  |

I hate that my cell phone already listens in on me, I don't want my house to as well. I see commercials for "smart" everything, from ovens and fridges to door locks and lights. It's like I tell my kids all the time, just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should! What have we become?? |

I point this out to my kids all the time - They're wanting to start YouTube channels and posting on FB - and that anything they do will follow them around FOREVER. Alexa et al is worse, because it's sitting there recording everything you do in the privacy of your own home. |

I went to the Mariners/Yankees game back in September for my birthday. My buddies from out of town booked a suite at the new hotel directly across from CenturyLink. First thing I noticed when I walked into the room was the Alexa device sitting right next to the couch/TV area. I walked over, unplugged it, and tossed it in a drawer in the kitchenette. Can you guess how I responded to the poll?
