A remote island where the natives shoot visitors with arrows wouldn't be my on my list of vacation destinations.

This is like tying to break into someone's house. He wasn't wanted, and was intruding/trespassing. If this guy walked into your home would he have walked out alive?
My chem lab partner in college did a mission trip to Indonesia. The tribe they were there with was head hunting 30 years previously. Some of the village elders still remember those times and of being cannibals. It is amazing how different so much of the world still is, and how some places are still left unscathed. |
