“I think the report is going to be devastating to the president and I know that the president's team is already working on a response to the report,” Dershowitz said on "This Week" Sunday.

Dershowitz added that he believes the report, although it will have a strong political impact, is unlikely to result in criminal charges.

“When I say devastating, I mean it's going to paint a picture that's going to be politically very devastating. I still don't think it's going to make a criminal case,” Dershowitz said.

Having watched some TV interviews it still seems that if Mueller has anything on Trump regarding actual collusion with Russia to interfere in the election, nobody has heard it. It's instead ventured far afield into personal affairs and business dealings, mostly in NY, and seems to have nabbed a handful of Trump associates in unrelated crimes or false statements when questioned. Further it seems if there is any meat to this, it's all tenuous connections to minor nonsense.

I'm bewildered at how the illegal Clinton Cartel has gone on for years without any real scrutiny, just threats of investigations, when they were actively engaged in a plethora of crimes at home and abroad. The woman set up an illegal server to circumvent federal laws, then used it for business and sent/received illegal classified messages by the hundred(s) or more. Then when questioned she was deceptive and outright lied (I had no classified messages....). Then when subpoenaed, she destroyed 30,000 pieces of evidence very aggressively to leave no trace - suggesting massive scandal. The FBI even acknowledged she did all this but declined to prosecute. It's really unbelievable. That's the tip of the iceberg. The Clinton Cartel is so corrupt with the foreign funds, the use of funds, and so forth.

I just really do not understand how this happens.

Then, when something might be happening, he jumps to other networks, and says the Prez is in deep kimchi, but nothing indictable can happen....

Everyone at the FBI were just certain that Hillary would win the election and didn't want to do anything that would jeopardize their jobs.


As for Trump and the report having a devastating effect on his future "elect-ability"? I think the report will just get lost in the noise.

The whole Mueller investigation was just a welfare program for Lawyers, investigators, and professional Wash, DC "Staffers". In the end they got indictments, deals, and convictions, but none of them included Trump who was the original target, stated or not.

A big fat Ditto on the Clinton Crime Family. Wonder if anyone has the balls and finances to bring a private prosecution of Hillary and Bill to a court?

Just like with Hillary, I think most of the shady things going on with Trump were already "baked in" when it comes to voter opinion. I don't think it's going to have an impact unless people really close to Trump (sons, Ivanka, Kushner) get caught up in it.
