Is history repeating itself?

Anyone read their WWII history? How Hitler staged "uprisings" in Czechoslovakia then invaded to "protect the ethnic Germans living there?

Notice the similarity with Putin's staging unrest in Ukraine/Crimea and then invading to protect ethnic russians living there.


Sounds like the same song with only the leaders and country names changed.

Putin probably figures that Hitler got away with it until he attacked the Soviet Union and since Putin is just trying to re-establish the Soviet Union he can get away with it easier than Hitler

What do the great minds here think?

Ukraine and Russia are about as culturally different as us and Canada. The reason the Russian republic was so keen on letting Ukraine separate in the first place was they didn’t want to pay for Chernobyl’s cleanup. Now that the EU is making them pay for it anyway, may as well bring them back in. Lots of Ukrainians disagree with that though, but nobody’s willing to militarily back them.

Well the leftists in the USA have been covertly and now overtly doing this with illegal immigration.

They realized that floods of low information people that are ultra reliant on big government and who breed like rabbits are great for their voting base - the poor and ignorant are easy to oppress and control.

So they are flooding the US with these groups who will be their future voting base. And it's working.
