This will get challenged in court. They can't seize property without compensation.

Bump stock? What Bump Stock?
Anyone want to guess how many will just disappear into attics or buried in back yards, sealed in buckets, pipe, etc, along with ammo.
Anyone remember all the "auto sears" for AR-15's that were sold back in the 70's and early 80's? Wonder how many of them were turned in?

Well this would be very very disappointing, and I don't even have not wanted nor used a bump stock.
Terrible precedent. And a blatant infringement.

Bump stocks are not machine guns according to the legal definition, so neither the administration nor BATFE have the authority to reclassify them as such; only Congress can change the definition.

A friend of mine was putting in sprinklers in his backyard and dug up a bag all wrapped up with one of these kits inside. It had a clipping from a magazine from 1979 in it to. Hes not a gun guy so he called me to look at it and I told him it wasn't something he probably wanted to have in the house! This was 15 years ago, who knows what happened to it.

Unregistered DIAS possessed before November 1, 1981 were grandfathered in. But you have to prove you legally owned them before the ban. Which is kinda hard to do since they didn't have SN's. A registered DIAS on a Form 4 goes for well over $10,000.
