I have a good friend and customer in Anchorage that owns a very large furniture store.
I texted him to make sure he and his family are ok, he replied they are all fine but the store is a mess. 10s of thousands of damaged and destroyed items. I hope everyone is ok up there. Haven’t heard yet if any injuries or deaths. |

The road damage pictures remind me of the pictures from the Good Friday earthquake in 1964. That quake was substantially stronger @ 9.2 magnitude making it the second most powerful earthquake ever recorded.
