The picture in the original post is Vail, it’s is a side road, not the “main road from Anchorage to the Valley”.

He was plowing snow with a grader when it happened. Said all the street lights went dark, then all the snow fell off the trees. Thought for sure he’d knocked down a power pole. Looks like the City Street Dept is going to be a little extra busy this Winter.

My friend said they got 4 and 5 magnitude aftershocks all night long. Said his kids were freaked. It's cold out too so he said staying warm was a concern among many other things.
