594 has sorta backfired for them IMO.

I organized a group buy, for instance, that brought like 30 shotguns into the state! Eat that libtards!

Leadcounsel that is an AMAZING way of framing all of this. You’re right, it is bringing more guns into the state.

I have not bought any used guns since 594. But I buy MORE new guns than ever. If you guys recall we brought up that exact point about 594.

I buy 80% now..........too. :thumbsup2: :wagwoot:

I think it was right after 594. Partly to give the middle finger to 594, and partly due to lucky timing, I organized roughly 30 shotgun buy for guys here and on SGN. It was a lot of work on my end, but worth it. Everyone got a pretty much 75% or better former police/prison 870 Wingmaster riot gun with wood furniture, for about $200 each. Most had just some rough cosmetics in spots such as minor damage to wood hardware, light pitting of metal, light wear on the bluing, etc... I got one with some pitting, and one with a damaged wood forearm I replaced with plastic. One fella found his extractor was broken, and I think he got it fixed relatively cheaply. ~ 30 more shotguns in the state in part due to 594 and the obligated FFL transfer; local table top guy got some business. I think some folks ordered supplemental guns to come in at the same time so it provided some cash to a local FFL...

We each EXTREMELY underpaid for something EXTREMELY cool.

I'm about the same as I was. I have most things I really wanted and now it's if something jumps out at me. The last thing that did was when a buddy brought in a Buckmark rifle to sell on consignment and I'm like hold one, let me head to the ATM.

It's about the same for me. I really don't care if we meet at an FFL for a transfer unless the other party wants to. All 594 had done is make all of us suspect to each other.

Yep.
It's all unconstitutional utter bullshit.
Damned shame. Could have been such a fine state.
