IMO when someone runs for a different elected position they should give up their current position. Nothing sucks more than someone who is already in office, and they run for another political position, only to lose and still keep their first elected office. Doesn't seem right to me.

I don't think Inslee cared about being governor other than using it as a platform to pursue the office of POTUS.
