Started a fire outside. Used my dry fluff, waxed dry fluff, tiny kindling on up. No problem. Ate an MRE.

Drank from one of the water jugs.

Gonna need to store more water

Wrong.

You live your preps, present tense.

You currently use them, or live with them, live using them, etc.

I don't care...your glee at other's inconvenience, while lecturing how much better you are than everyone, gets boorish after awhile...

WTF are you talking about?

I share advice about using life's unexpected events as experiences to learn from, and that's 'glee at other's inconvenience, while lecturing how much better you are than everyone'?

Every time I lost a utility, I found something I could have done better to make it easier the next time... I don't know where the fuck you're getting this high horse bullshit from, I was merely pointing out, after people were saying they need generators, need to store more water, etc that you turn a negative into a positive learning experience.

Again, how you got what you just said about me, I have no fucking clue.....and I've reread my post about a dozen times...and I fail to see how anything I said could be interpreted as anything other than what it was meant as....

Any elitist/negative interpretations are strictly coming from your end, not mine...

Blew another section of fence down. Mother Nature is doing me a favour by tearing out fence that is to be replaced in its entirety in April. Never lost power, although much of Bellevue and Issaquah did lose power--Tillicum Middle School (Roald's school) had no power until 2200 ish last evening.

Agreed, TW.

I took something you said before and extrapolAted it into these comments.

You are right, and did not say what I accused you of.

I apologize, please forgive me.

Gunner-san, Yubitsume is the path to honor when one has shamed themselves.

As far as my preps go...

I won't starve, or freeze, but my water storage is woefully lacking, and I sure as hell wouldn't call my living glamorous or 'better' by any stretch. It has a few benefits, but they are few and far between.

Power still out in the Lake Morton-Berrydale area (few miles south of Covington). More wind expected later today, especially for the foothill communities (North Bend, Issaquah, Enumclaw and Gold Bar). Totally sucks for them.

Generator still holding up after 3 days. May not get power back till late Thursday. Maybe not at all with this new storm coming. Zero internet.

Remove anything/everything that can hit power lines.

Meant to say, earlier...

When my internet was out for a week and a half, I had nothing at all.

You guys are still getting on with your phones.

Youns and the wind, are reminding me that I need to be looking for a better phone.
