99% of the time, it's a bad sector/hard drive. |

Have you reset the bios to defaults? Can you get to a command prompt? If so, you might try bootrec /rebuildbcd or chkdsk C: /f |

Boot into recovery console command console. Look into how to use BCDEDIT... Also, what Mark said. Still haven't answered the AHCI question.. |
