The whole thing is an damned insult.

Because, yeah, I take my advice on life from a company trying to sell me a wide range of products. FTS!!

Saw a freak at the Gym this AM with had to be shaved legs....

WTF is up with that shit.

There are reasons to shave (legs in particular) for some sports. Swimmers and cyclists often shave to gain a competitive advantage. Plus, if you've ever crashed a bicycle at 35mph, you know that picking road grit out of your skin is a lot easier if you don't have to get through a bunch of hair to do it.

But if being competitive is toxic masculinity, and hair is also toxic masculinity, then what's a fella to do? :wink05:

There's no need to shave. Just buy a gallon of Neet hair remover, get down to buck naked, slather it on, and wait 15 minutes before showering the mess off - you will be bald as an egg, slick as a seal. Just a slight burning sensation here and there prior to rinse - small price to pay.

Never pass out around a bunch of drunk GI's with Nair.
We bought that stuff by the case.
Lightly passed out, full head treatment, completely zoned out and not waking up got the full body treatment.
Poor bastards would be pulling extra duty the next day when discovered missing eye brows, bald and stasch gone.
You know, ass hairs prevent chaffing......

No shit, in basic & AIT at Ft. Knox I slept with my eyes open, it used to freak how the troops that were on Fire Guard. I got nicknamed The Vampire, nobody messed with me either.... :rofl9:

What is a man? A response to Gillette.

I suspect the views are higher.

Just signed up for the dollar shave club. No more Gillette razors for me. 25 bucks every 3 months. You get 8 razors and shave butter. Its probably cheaper if you have to shave 5 days a week. May need more than 8 but I will see.

I get the blades every two months, and I have a bunch to spare. Great deal.

Fantastic! Thank you!

From the CEO who made this ad:

"my name is Ilan, CEO of Egard. The only reason I attached my company to this (i made this video alone) was because I wanted it to respond in the strongest way possible and the thing that matters to me is the company I built for my father."

In another tweet he said he was going to originally release it anonymously.

"I was told it would ruin my brand... I spent my own money on it not my brands. I had a four hour fight with family and friends about how bad an idea this was but I put my brand behind it because I refuse to feel censored and believe in the message. That's it."

What a boss

I bought myself a double edge safety razor and I tried it out for the first time last night. The difference is night a day! I can't even believe I've been using those disposable razors my whole life! If I don't shave for more than 3 days I can feel some discomfort from the hair getting pulled on. I had to keep checking my face because I didn't even feel the hair coming off!

I also did the calculation: I was paying $3.50 per razor for the really nice Gillette ones. I'm now paying 11 cents per razor for the double sided ones.

I got the Edwin Jagger Double Edge Safety Razor and some really nice made in Japan razors. You can also pick up a 100 pack of another for significantly cheaper that work great too.
