Sam Walton had a ‘79 Ford truck that he planned on keeping forever. He sorta did—he passed away in 1992 and the truck is still at the Wal-Mart Museum in Bentonville, AR. Same condition as when he last drove it dents and all.

Ive had a 79 ford truck for 20 years. Lately when its freezing at night, I park the bucket for the 160excavator on the fords roof. Nothing bothers me more than a foot of frozen sawdust stuck to the bucket.

The ol ford is pretty reliable, but its pretty short now! :ROFLMAO:

I’m gonna report you to Ford Protective Services. :ROFLMAO:

The ol F150 is involved in a abusive relationship!

I guess you could say its been damaged by a run in with a Deere! :wink05:

If you want the best deal let me know. My daughter just sold my 1995 Dodge PU V10 with 140K mile for $2500. The dealership she got her car from wouldn't even look at it. She needs to be a used car sales person.

Call junkyards and find a tranny, loosen some bolts, pull old tranny out, put new one in and tighten some bolts. Replacing a tranny seems like it's a ton of work, but rear wheels drive ones are easy and a junkyard tranny is much cheaper.
