“How do I have the privilege of white privilege?” Webb asked.
“David, by virtue of being a white male you have white privilege,” Martin said.
Then Webb cleared up Martin’s awkward assumption.
That's beautiful.
Most people who are blinded by the identity politics thingy will see this is a simple error that she is being hammered for, instead of how such a seemingly simple error shines a big spotlight on the whole falsity of the premise.
Amazing!

Not a fan. She asked for the opportunity to apologize and probably the conversion would have become very interesting as the white thing was out of the way. But no, he has to sit on the mistake.

Excellent point... As amusing as the error was, morphing over into a real teachable moment would have been FAR preferable.
Work less on beating people, and more on converting them.

Sometimes “I’m sorry” needs to be more thoroughly mined to make sure they really get what they did wrong and aren’t just saying it to deflect.
These people needs lessons on how wrong they are and how damaging their words are. Treating them like they’re 4 and letting them off with “I’m sorry” only encourages more of the same bad behavior from so called intelligent mature adults.
Yup.
But...
Learning a lesson...
Two teachers. One smacks your knuckles with a ruler. Continues to do so, even after you have apologized. No matter what you say, she keeps smacking you with that ruler. Follows you to the door, at the end of the school day, still smacking you with that ruler.
The other accepts your apology. Then sits down with you, and has a discussion with you. Making sure that you actually do understand that you were wrong. Why you were wrong. How you were wrong. etc.
Now which lesson are you going to be more likely to take to heart. And cause you to reconsider the next time you think about saying the same thing?
Of course if you are just the kind of nasty individual who enjoys punishing and continuing to punish others, I'm pretty sure which lesson you are going to embrace.

Listen to the audio. It’s on the link. He verbally explained to her in a very mature intelligent and eloquent way that she’s a militant shit stirring jackass who tried to play chess with monopoly figures and I wanna know how in the blue hell you can equate to a comparison with abuse?
If you already listened to the audio do it again. lol
Searched and found nothing on CNN about this. Looks like they are trying to pretend it never happened.
