A total jackass in another thread and calling out a couple people. My dog died Tuesday, and I'm taking it out on people. I'm being a total dick I'm thinking.
Instead of getting personal I should have just kept to the technical aspects of training and handling.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. Truly, nothing compares to family.

Everybody gets their turn to be an asshole here. Sorry for your loss, our dogs mean so very much.

I'm sure that I'm going to be a total wreck when my dog goes, I care more about her than most people

That sucks.
My dog is damned old now and he's the asshole. Chancho is generally a damned good dog, but he's old - has joint problems that come and go. When he feels good, could be 1AM, he gets really active......dude I want to sleep.....
Anyway, man sorry for your loss.
It's OK. In fact poke at Steve, he's thick skinned.

We're all assholes on here at some point; caring that you were is what shows character.
Can definitely relate to the emotions, our pet just had spinal surgery....caged now, waiting to see if it was successful.
Sorry you lost your buddy, hang in there.

Instead of getting personal I should have just kept to the technical aspects of training and handling. Pssht.. I got thicker skin than that.. No need to apologize. Sorry about your dog, it takes a huge toll losing a part of your family.

We all make mistakes and almost all of us have acted like an Ass more than once. What matters is you recognized it and apologized publicly. It takes a Man of Character to do that. Well done.

Sorry for the loss of your pupper. We've lost two in the last 6 weeks due to age related issues. One old basset left and no more. They fill such a huge spot in our lives but also leave a huge hole when they leave.
