11:08. Sitting on my front porch (parkland) listening to the sound of random gunfire coming from the direction of the base. (Southwest) 24 timed shots, with a pair of double taps mixed in toward the end. Altogether, about 30 secs worth of firing. No reload times in-between.

On a quiet night, I hear gunshots from the base, mostly artillery or heavy weapons, and also a lot of gunfire in my neighborhood (although I believe that's illegal). One of my neighbors has a ritual of around 12-3am, touching off about 1 or 2 rounds and that's it. Been going on for years.

Shoot, living in Silver Firs (SE Everett) I heard gunfire at least once per week, and that was a decent neighborhood. No idea why or how, but it was regularly several shots once per week. Not always the same direction, number of shots, or intervals. Just, someone shooting.

You were on here asking for a free trailer to help move stuffe, then found wasps in the garage, or something? Then had to change something in the shower.... For years?

Maybe he did like I did and bought a house four houses down from his former abode. That, or the dog made him move into the garage or something. As to gunfire, not a thing here in S/SE Bellevue, except a) around Lunar New Year and b) when the Seahawks win a particularly important game. Not that people around here don't have guns, just that the gun-owning population in the immediate area tends to be elderly and not particularly inclined to fire off random rounds. Lunar New Year, though, is insane--gunshots, fireworks, REALLY BIG OMG I CAN'T HEAR fireworks, and also, fireworks.

I live in a brick apt, and some of the stuff they were shooting last week made the building shake. That my friends is the sound of freedom!

Generally get gunfire every weekend, neighbor lights off a cannon when hawks score or win (other neighbors do fireworks) and the occasional rifle round goes off at night if theres a coyote.

Most Duvall gunfire is in the morning. I never told you guys about the bullet hole in garage door #1. Maybe two years later I found the bullet in my pile of folded shop/dog/car towels. Looks like .30.

Looks like .30. The best part about this is the consternation and indignation of the newly moved from urban to rural-ites on the various Duvall FB pages. It's quite funny to read, and it happens every year once hunting season is on. If they're lucky, all they'll get in response is "Welcome to Duvall, get used to it", but when they continue to try to understand why anyone would want to hunt poor animals, or own a gun, or, or, that's when the piling on begins. Fun to watch.

I have concluded it's a guy who works a late shift, comes home, and b/c it's illegal here, just fires off 1 or 2 shots into a backyard berm as stress relief. Not a sustained shooting so he won't get located. But other than that, I cannot explain...
