Still no power. Went to top off the genny and have almost 5” of fresh over the last few hours....... and still falling.

I have one of Joelle’s Co workers crashing here so I’ll be a 6am taxi to the hospital so these nurses can get to work!

That’s hot! Put the boys to bed and pour some hot buttered rum. What happens in snowpocalypse stays in snowpocalypse!

Awaiting the video...

Any particular building in mind?

The one he is in....for the next 24 plus hours with his Wife. She won't let him go, and not in a good way.

I wish. :ROFLMAO:

Amazon is closed for tomorrow's day shift. The way it's looking, probably nights also.

I was way off...

I thought you worked with usrifle & were telling him no work tomorrow, and I was giving you a dig...

I got a really good laugh from one of my employees earlier today after I sent out text messages telling everyone to plan on normal schedules for tomorrow. She said she didn't think she could get out of her driveway in Spanaway because she had almost a foot of snow, and was expecting more. When I suggested that she should have been working on it during the weekend, instead of waiting until late Sunday afternoon, she said she didn't have a snow shovel. I told her to ask a neighbor to borrow a shovel. She replied back later that the only shovel she could find/borrow was a clamming shovel, so she used that! LOL, only in western WA!

Nice to know someone values their job.

Correct, she actually does. She's a commercial truck driver, knows how to chain up her rig when needed, and she lives within walking distance of Walmart. So I really did expect her to be better prepared, not scrambling to borrow a clamming shovel!

Snowing sideways up here in the far north/Blaine. We had dodged the last two, I guess it's our turn now. Already seeing several stupid driving tricks. Broke out the 1984 CUCV Blazer. Started her up, locked the hubs and away I went. Amazing how.people seem to have zero winter driving skillz, and drive like it's a NASCAR race.

I miss my M1009...

Drive easy, roads not as clean as before so I expect major stuntange and the work parking lot crew late in clearing for once.

I haven't had the courage to check outside yet, but I heard sleet hitting the windows last night and all I could think was, "fuuuuuck I'm gonna lose power." icon_eek

Get your ass in there, man. That production line doesn't stop because you're afraid to drive in the snow!

The good news is...I haven't seen one damn mosquito in a week or two!

On another note, I took wife out yesterday in her Xdrive BMW which she has driven a lot in the snow in the past.
I wanted her to understand how the DTC works, and when to disengage FULLY if she finds herself stuck and needs to rock the car out.
I also made her shit her pants when I disable DTC while driving and throttled it, going sideways for just a second or two. :ROFLMAO: She truly appreciates the Xdrive dynamic traction control now and all that its doing for her.

Took me almost an hour hour to get from Des Moines to Kent this morning. Side roads are shit, main roads aren't terrible if you have decent tires or 4x4.

Powers back on! Roads are white and slick.

Took my son on a field trip to South Sound Center to show him how traction control works (by turning it off.... wheeeeee)
