Keep in mind the anti-gun states are a big minority in this nation. So why choose to live in one of them? There's about 10 really oppressive ones, 5 not so good ones, and 35 really good ones.

I believe moving to a PRO gun state is the smart move, since it increases voting pools in those states to prevent this spread of locusts. And you decrease the tax revenues, the population totals (CA is shrinking and losing huge $$$$), etc. And it buys you time. That time means a lot of GOOD things might happen with gun laws. I do believe the SCOTUS will be forced to stop ignoring this and take some gun law cases soon. And I hope that the Court is a 5 or 6 vote pro-gun majority.

And I'm banking on that, because otherwise this nation is absolutely lost to the leftists who are spreading fast with their anti-gun nonsense. The trend is bad, granted.

So with that Here's two plausible scenarios, with an outcome that in 5 or 10 years the SCOTUS acts and repels these oppressive gun laws.

1. You stay in an oppressive antigun state and ignore XYZ law. At best you live under constant fear of arrest and conviction if you violate some stupid law. Worst, you are arrested and convicted and a felon and lose your rights, lots of money, your job, maybe your marriage, and years off your life. In 10 years, you'll still be a prohibited person convict.

2. Or you spend time and money and move to a solid pro-gun state. You enjoy your freedoms and life. Then say in 10 years when this all shakes out, you can stay in that state or return to WA.

It sucks to look at the possibility of having to leave the state and concede that it is lost. But in THIS state due to one huge thing called the initiative process it is a lost cause. What does not get thru house/senate simply gets forced on the ballot. The Anti's, are better funded, which by default makes them more organized, plus there are many more of them than us, even in this previously pro 2A state, the schools and cities are left/anti-2a breeding grounds. They are quite simply out-breeding conservatives by a significant margin, ontop of the whole immigration nightmare.

I am not condoning giving up, we have to keep up the fight, if for no other reason than to slow the march down and gain time as mentioned. Aside from that I think honesty we need to come up with a way to get the initiative process changed, it is a decidedly anti republic system that promotes mob rule which right now is what we are faced with. Double edged sword for sure as we lose a way to keep our elected officials in check, but at this point it is being used by the majority in this state (liberal/socialists) to punish the minorities (conservatives).

5-10 years of feeling "safe" hunh?

Politicians are whores for public opinion and the media helps drive it.

I'm sticking to my original proposition.

In further proof that,in cookie cutter fashion, the Bloomberg/MothersAgainstEverything Anti-gunners are pursuing with frightful success their stated purpose to control guns through state and local assemblies rather than through Federal statutes, comes another story of this from Hawaii

(Sorry Chris, your state is going further loco)

Guns denied to persons under 21yoa
Red Flag laws (ERPOS)
and stolen gun reporting regulations (chain of evidence strategy for the eventual confiscation of all guns)

my plan is to move where the weather is warm and dry and taxes are lower, regulations are less and there are less people

If there truly is "no place you can hide" then the utilmate conclusion is a physical war, which I am not opposed to.

I think the tree of liberty needs to be refreshed, of course the war will not come until it is almost too late, but that is what it will take to wake up people who take freedoms for granted

Seems like if there is a war coming, best to do it on your home turf, where you know the lay of the land and some of the logistics? Not gonna run.
