Quote: Fairchild Air Force Base assisted emergency personnel by sending three explosive ordnance disposal technicians to the scene, although the semitruck involved did not have a direct relationship with the base. So, he was causally driving around the base and they called for help to move some "stuff". Quote: The driver, Mark W. Dearinger, 47, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was cited for inattentive driving. He was not injured in the crash. inattentive driving while hauling weapons of mass destruction. https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-ne ... -missiles/I love everything about this story.

"Cited for inattentive driving" what now?
His crash probably cost a considerable amount of money to resolve, given that freaking ordnance disposal personnel and G-d only knows how many fire companies had to be on scene. Maybe I'm just uninformed, but it would seem like crashing your semi because you weren't paying attention (read: he was texting and driving) merits something a little more than a citation. Something like having your commercial or trucker's licence or whatever pulled or at least suspended for a while.

He probably thought he was getting back onto I-90
Hard to tell if there's an arrow below the I-90 sign and which way it's pointing

Distracted driving with a CDL is a mandatory, albeit short, suspension. 30 days (1st offense 180 days 2nd offense) if I remember correctly. Which to these guys is more than ‘Hey, you can’t drive for 30 days’ so much as ‘Hey, you’re unemployed now and unemployable til you get your license back. IF you can find someone that’ll hire you now.’ Must’ve had a good story. Any offense while hauling HazMat (Which I’m sure these are) can be a Criminal Offense at the officers discretion.

WMD's...Missiles? No, more likely Iron Bombs. Without Fuses they are about as dangerous as a Bic lighter.

Uncovered, no visible hazmat placards in the photos or video I could discern. If someone can get the four digit number of a hazmat placard, I can tell you what the material is.

I suspect they are completely Inert travelling like that, probably no explosives involved at all. The Panic over it makes me Laugh.....WMD's!!! MISSILE's!!!

Air Force is keeping mum cause they don’t want the taxpayers to know they were bound for duty as decorative gate posts.
