"The background checks for ammunition would work the same way as background checks for firearms. Every time someone of legal age attempts to purchase ammunition, the buyer would be subject to a background check, which Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy said would take 30 seconds to one minute to complete".

I know I'm not that old but I seem to remember signing in a log book when buying ammo at one time.

In CT you already need a permit to buy ammo... Just another step in total control.

Same here...Anything that would function in a pistol. Used to have to sign in to buy .22LR.

Same here, but I also remember taking a note from my parents and being able to buy it (.22LR ammo) when I was 13. :ROFLMAO:

I remember that, one shop that used to be in Mt Vernon used to tell us "Just tell me it`s for a rifle" he hated the log book and didn`t enforce it by the letter of the law. I was only 18 so guess where I got all my ammo
