Francis thinks the military would obey orders to use planes, tanks, or nukes on Americans? He's smoking more weed than usual. He also doesn't understand the concept that the military would likely fracture into factions and that an armed civilian populace would tip the balance. Finally, ask him how well we did against civilians armed with light weapons in Afghanistan, Vietnam, etc.

One of America's big advantages in warfare is a sturdy supply line and troops willing to carry the fight to the enemy. The supply line is much easier to disrupt on the home front, and your troops (including local law enforcement) will be less than willing to carry the fight to their fellow citizen. Especially when it is a cause they themselves don't believe in. Wrench left in a turbine? Oil drained from a tank? Oxygen mask not working right on aircraft? Support troops could cause serious problems while acting alone. I also, don't believe most combat arms will carry out unlawful orders.

Apparently Beto thinks "buyback" enforcement would be supported door to door by LEO in this Country for AR-15's.

"Police officers will physically show up to gun owners' homes and enforce 2020 presidential hopeful Beto O'Rourke's mandatory assault weapons buyback if he is elected president, the Texas Democrat said during a Wednesday interview."

Beto's chance of being elected is about the same as cops going door to door confiscating guns.
None.

Beto says law abiding citizens will turn guns in.

Well. There it is.

While I want him to disappear, he is doing the right a favor.

That right there should WILL keep those shitbags out of office.

He also said that potential mass shooters will turn in their guns voluntarily.

The leftist interviewer actually argued with him. Saying several times that these people, by their very definition don't care about the law and won't turn theirs in. But he kept insisting. While looking like a deer in the headlights.

At this point he is just a noise.

Something worse than a garlic cheese and bean burrito fart.
