Missouri bill sets the bar higher. "The bill uses several legal and Constitutional strategies to protect Second Amendment rights from infringement by both the Federal government and various Missouri governments." Goodbye GCA '68 and Brady bill? "Anyone who deprives a citizen of Missouri of Second Amendment rights under color of law would be subject to lawsuit or other redresses. Sovereign, official or qualified immunity would not apply. State officers who violate the law would be ineligible for employment by the state in any law enforcement or law enforcement supervisory capacity, or by any political subdivision of the state." Yep, a good defense of our 2nd is a great offense! Go on the offense and these damn anti-gunners will be babbling rainbow fairy tales in their sleep!

I read that article this morning too. Hope the whole concept gains traction and keeps on rolling. I think it was also Missouri, that earlier in the week was floating a measure that would require that persons over the age of 18 and meeting certain other qualifications, to have to own an AR 15. EDIT: link to mandatory AR ownership legislation. https://gatdaily.com/missouris-hb-1108- ... EBCPVGEGEG

Forget hoping. Get proactive and demand your reps do the same thing.
I sent a morning cheer to Guy Palumbo about this this morning and demanded that he do something in this fashion to address crime and oprotect our rights rather than the infringement policy he's been following.
There is a townhall meeting coming up for the 1st Legislative District and I plan on storming the gates and giving them an ear FULL about this and more.

Call it " The Washington Citizens Civil Rights Act ", and start getting signatures now to have it on the ballot as an initiative this fall.
Just tell people that it gives all people in the state equal rights and freedoms protected by government.
Everyone will sign, and everyone will vote it in. Done like Dinner. Fuck you, Turd Ferguson.

Don't forget to include 400 paragraphs of shit describing shit that's already codified. That's just the kind of dumb fuckery that liberals can really get behind.
I'm feeling some real possibilities here.
