At some point I don't even care if I get kicked to the curb. Something about the Mariner Curse says the harder they try, the more they stress and push, the worse they will be. So shit, play ball have fun. Astros coming up. No stress, hang loose.

This season kind of reminds me of 2001 when nobody really expected much, but they just kept winning. I remember watching those games and even when the M's got behind, you kept watching because you knew they'd fight back and usually end up winning. I don't expect another 116 win season, but they have that same kind of vibe. No big name stars, just good chemistry.

Remember when you’d play EA Sports Baseball and play a season set to “easy” and then just win all the games?
Yeah, somebody changed Seattle’s setting to “easy” this year. I’ve waited my whole life for them to start a season like this. Kind of weird they only scored 6 runs tonight, though. |

I am excited for the M's this year... and thankful they don't play the Giants. I will always be a Giants fan but I root for the M's as well.

They remind me of 2001. A bunch of no-names with no expectations but good chemistry. So much fun to watch because they just don’t give up. If we can smooth out the defense and bullpen, they could stay hot for a while. I don’t expect 116 wins, but I’ll enjoy them while they last!
