80% reliable "Glock"? Add 20% and you'll get 100% reliable Glock.

The beauty of fugly Glock is in its reliability. Should we talk 80% 1911s, I would say, “Go for it!”, because they all are 80% anyway! If serious, it depends on what you want it for. I would never trust Gucci Glock my life. Range toy? Why not, especially if I accidentally ran a drug dealer over at midnight and don’t really know what to do with a suitcase full of money!

Not for $200 of the price difference.

Did you pay for it with your card? Was it delivered to your address? If so, then it is not really off the books.

I'm calling your post what it is: You pulled that out of your ass, so it's shit. I've built 4. All four flawless. Have all my Glocks been flawless from the factory? Pretty much but I had a few issues. FTF, FTE, etc So I will be generous and call it a tie. The only one I had to experiment with was my G20 Lone Wolf long slide. Dinking with springs and loads and such. I would say with the heavy spring and .40SW plinking rounds and .40SW barrel there will be some issues for limp wristers. So 95% maybe. Ditto to some extent the .357Sig heavy spring combo, or 9X25 full load with light spring. OP, that seems like a decent deal!

I didn't mean to pee into anyone's tea and I am glad those builds work out well for you. Out of curiosity: is any of your 80% builds your EDC?

Even the P80 G26 is too chubby for body carry. BUT I do at times carry it in my pack.
