I need some advice. I have an Australian 1/4oz gold coin, like this one:  But it's older. Still in the case though. (I don't have it in front of me so I don't remember the date) Since gold is up right now I've been thinking about selling it but don't have a clue as to how. Pawn shops that buy gold? Jewellery shops? Help me out here. |

https://www.usgoldbureau.com/live-preci ... als-prices I have had dealers give me spot. It does happen in a sellers market, he will get his mark up on quicker sales. Another thing in your favor, I bet easier for someone to buy a 1/4 tr oz at ~$550+ than random guy having ~$2200+, and dealers know this of course and market mark-up% is larger on qtr tr oz than an even tr oz. I don't own or know 'roos. Not sure they demand a premium over a generic round. Maybe a little. |
