Got mine in mail today. They are still on sale. I got the 11.5 and normally wear 12. Been wearing for about 6 hours and they feel great so far. I may buy another for the heck of it.

I thought about it some more and ordered 3 more pair while they're on sale and the 10% code still works.

Maybe excessive but dang these are nice inexpensive summer boots.

Now I'll admit that I do some excessive buying from time to time as well . . . but DAMN! How many freaking miles do you plan to hike in these boots in your lifetime?!

I think you're good. Well, I think you're about 7 pairs past good. :ROFLMAO:

LC has now attained "Boot Hoarder" status. :rofl9:
Having said that, i ordered a pair in size 11.5 even though i typically wear a 12. (Before LC get's them all) Worst thing that can happen is i'm out 38 bucks, or i sell/give them to someone.
Thanks for the deal link LC.

Got mine yesterday, initial impression wasn't favorable, they seem to have found all the places on my feet that hurt. However, yesterday was a shitty day all around for physical wellbeing (my back flared up enough to warrant taking a couple of codeine tabs after I went home early from work because of the pain), so it was not a fair appraisal of the boots. So while I took today off to deal with the back issues, I also spent about 40 minutes (in the snow) in my hottub and my back feels... better? I decided to try the boots on again with proper socks and lacing them up properly (neither of which I did the first time). So far so good I'm pleased to say. Lacing them up properly seems to have moved the pain points um...away? I've been wearing them for a little less than an hour (had to get special dispensation from Rita to wear shoes in the house, honestly feels weird after almost two decades of never wearing shoes in the house). But since they've never been outside, and are completely clean, she's OK with it. The only issue I'm experiencing right now is some pain on my right foot, sort of like a bone bruise, but that can't be the fault of the boots, I haven't worn them long enough to do any damage.

BTW Len (Traut), even though these are 11-1/2 regulars, they seem to fit my fat feet, might be worth the $40 to take a chance.

Wonder if the cold weather version of these will come on sale over the summer?

The uppers are mostly leather, so I'll probably Sno-Seal them eventually. That'll get me some waterproofness up to the drain holes, and most of my walking isn't going to be out hiking where there's water over my ankles anyway. If there is, well, just deal with having water in the boot (and squeezing out the drains).
