With all the insane demand lately, all of the "sale" prices are pretty unimpressive because the "regular" price is up 10-20% (more in some cases, depending upon the item). About the only true deals I can find right now are Gunbroker auctions and private sales.

But those were the ones he wanted and I'm not fucking around with trying to find the same deal in the US.

You know filtering by location (us) is an option right? So is common sense when looking at the ad and seller feedback.

But that's what he wanted, best price on some resistors, capacitors, and tube sockets.
He builds tube amplifiers and is trying to keep expenses down.

He works for me and has a credit balance.
He does the research, sends me the links, and I order it for him.

Like I said, I don't have time to check around and see if there is a better deal in the USA on $10 in 1,000 Ohm 1/2 watt resistors.

Have you ever gone in Fry's to look around. It's the only store left (that I can think of) that carries a lot of stuff Radio Shack used to.

Get a bigger one than you think you need. I ended up with a presidential model and really like it, but it is already full. ARs take a lot of space.

I love mine but the wife still says I tricked her into letting me get a top of the line safe despite sending a picture with the pricetag on it before I bought it.

Pretty sure she got some fancy jewelry or something to make up for it. Ha. She still brings it up from time to time. I just remind her that some of her fancy jewelry is in there, safe and sound!

I think that's close to the size of mine. Definitely get the lights! They are SO nice and it really makes it easier to see in the corners. I got the dehumidifier too. Can't hurt since mine is in an attached and insulated but not necessarily heated/cooled space.
