$0.71/round is hardly a decent price. If you are willing to pay that, let me know how much you want and I'll dig into my stash.

When in comparison it’s always good to state what you think is “decent”


So for all the new folks as a benchmark before all these high prices.


These are ballpark practice Ammo cost:
9mm $.20-$0.22 per round. $10-$12 a box of 50
40SW. $0.26-$0.32 per round. $15-17 a box of 50
45ACP. $0.34-$0.38 per round. $17-$22 a box of 50

These are rough numbers as a benchmark.
Typically the lower end was for Case (1,000 rounds or 20 boxes) or sale prices.


“Defensive” aka Self Defense rounds are a whole different price point. Typically in box of 20 rounds at a price around 4-7 times the practice Ammo (depends on specialty and caliber).


I know the next question will be - Where to get ammo at these price points... right now. Not likely.

Going rate right now is about 3-8 times the benchmark.
So 9mm $0.50-$0.90++ a round.

Agreed! I am also more than willing to tap into my stash and honor those prices too...heck I’ll even go as low as $0.65 CPR!!
