Yeah nice to see this. It will continue to pressure the other who are coming down but slowly to continue to reduce.
I heard from someone else that LGS in other states are running 9mm at $12 a box. So that tells me the online guys are still marking things WAY up from what the manufacturers are selling it to them. Just shy of $430 delivered is a good price! You are spot on with the online mark-ups. Brownells also has a bunch of decent-for-the -times pricing on 9, 40, and 45 with free shipping codes. Local Sportsman and Cabela prices have all started to creep upwards. A few months back, they were selling Blazer brass 9mm for $15 to $16 a box. In recent weeks they’ve been priced between $19 and $20 a box. Still flying off the shelves whenever that shipment arrives. It’ll be interesting to see if we ever get back to average $12 boxes again. It’s that cat and mouse with BM vs Online pricing - primary differentiator outside of price would be shipping costs. Best news - Supply is finally catching up to demand. |
