I'd sit tight and wait for another deal. The other day, I picked up 1K for under $0.40/rd after shipping and sales tax for a couple buddies. It's no longer available, for obvious reasons, but something like that will come back. Plus, with Labor Day sales coming up, someone is going to run a special on a more recognizable brand, I'm sure of it.

If you look at ammoseek, that ammo at 2A warehouse is amongst the lowest priced right now at 39cpr.

I'm not a fan of Freedom Munitions (the cheapest on the list)--order times have been horrendous, customer service abysmal, and there are numerous reports of squibs and malfunctions.


I'm not convinced that there will be sales running. There is a huge scare right now with the new ban of Russian steel-cased ammo imports, potentially wiping out 40% of the US supply.

Ammo prices are going to go up for the next year, not down.

That price looks pretty good to me, assuming shipping doesn't make it way more expensive than one of the others around.

I would pass on these, there is plenty of other good ammo for 40cpr right now such as PPU, S&B, CCI, Federal... the problem however is shipping always puts these up to like 45cpr
I was very tempted to get that SVT ammo from ZincPoint going for 36.4cpr just for the range. with a little research the ammo seems fine... ZincPoint however seems a little bit sketchy

I bought this IGMAN Mil-Spec 9MM 124gr FMJ Brass - 500rd Box as an experiment today $180. I'm not low on 9mm, but since I'm the idiot who started this thread I should be the victim too.

Sales tax and shipping, frack. Uggh. $229.45 TOTAL. They saw me coming!

Yeah, shipping & tax kills most deals. Still, these prices are refreshing compared to what we were seeing 6 months ago!
