Jackery Day is May 12, 2022.

Follow link to find out what new product they will be releasing.

https://www.jackery.com/pages/jackery-d ... gI7LPD_BwE

So if you are in the market for a battery bank for the RV, House and/or camping. Check them out.

I have no financial motivations. Just letting people know to look if they want at what’s new over there.

Can't wait for prices on these to come down and really compete with fuel based generators. 1.5kw unit looks pretty stout, but at $2k for just the battery and one panel.. eesh. Funny thing is, that 1.5kw will move my tesla for about 5-6 miles!

A guy is making battery packs (that can be stacked) for commercial use to recharge a Tesla.

Think roadside assistance etc.

I’m going to say it’s more than $2,000.

On a side note: I still like the idea of using a Tesla as the battery for emergency use. It’s on wheels, portable and huge power bank.

You can do it with a Harbor Freight inverter and throw off enough power from the Tesla to drive key circuits in your home. Enough to run your furnace, refrigerator and some lights.

Voids your warranty though.

After that subject title this entire thread is a let down.

Well, I don’t think anyone needs a special day or reason to jackoff.

But back to topic. 8pm is the big reveal.

I'm in for your reveal but I thought you meant jackery on higher level with Brandon.

I was always told building one of these yourself is significantly less expensive per kwh than buying one.

Only if one does the research and invest the time and energy to compare price and function to fit their individual needs.

And with all that said - making a few with all that knowledge overall would potentially save a few bucks. How many versus how much one would save?

For the average Joe wanting a plug and play approach with no electrical background. No.

Like does one know what an Ohm means?
