Anyone know if these will work for 209 converted muzzleloaders? I am new to muzzy and know 209 based but not if any 209 will work...
Hey Larry,
The short answer is it should. There are likely some small differences between brands just like with other primers.
If you want you could come up and go shooting at the range here as my guest. We could have a muzzleloading day.
If they work you can go home with some. If not I likely have some Winchester 209's you could go home with.
Either way you would have what you need to practice and hunt with. BTW you really don't need very many for muzzleloading. 10 shots at a range session is a very busy day and means you likely cleaned at least once to get there! 100- 200 is all you will likely need and use for quite a while.
what muzzle loading rifle do you have? Feel free to PM and we can take this offline.
