Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

Yes. But I'm confused. What's the knipex have to do with it? :wink05:

Wow thats a great deal at Zoro. I've always ordered Knipex through Chad's Toolbox website but that same tool is selling there currently going for $49.

Have a full drawer in the tool cabinet full of Knipex pliers and wrenches already
NWS is also another great German tool maker worth checking out for hand tools.
Wera and Wiha are two German tool companies specializing in high quality screwdrivers with great ergonomics

Grip-On is a spanish company making great locking pliers

I wish I could somehow order them w/o the comptroller being aware (she keeps all the books). I'd love to have the 3 piece set, but I'm unlikely to get that purchase past her, especially since she knows I already have the 10" pair.

I just give mine the 10" and pair once in a while. She doesn't care what I buy tool wise. And there is only one tool she keeps track of.

:ROFLMAO: Well played.

This is a great deal. I might pick up the 3-piece set and give it to my old man for his birthday.

Thanks! :thumbsup2: Ordered the set.

So, they're made in Germany, eh? Well, I'm wearing one of my German autowinds today, so why not? I can always use a good pair of pliers.....
