I saw a Glock 30s that was $520 OTD. Passed on it though because it didn't have a rampant pony on the slide.

Roughly the same at Monroe FM. A 10/22, a few bolt actions. The only thing I saw that was interesting was a GP101, but stock price. It had a 20% discount though.

Those were just the 9s. They had more .45s too. Maybe 6 .22 rifles, a couple dozen hinting rifles and less than a dozen shotguns.

I was going to buy some extra mags but for some odd reason they weren’t on sale.

I went into the Burlington Freddies today and they had crap for long guns and shotguns and nothing in Handguns to float my boat but they did have some 30.06 and CCI Mini mags that were 30% off and with my extra 15% off the 30.06 was 14.87 a box and the Mini Mags were 5.35. I tried to buy 15 boxes but they only let me buy 6 boxes of Mini Mags. I said I thought you were trying to blow all this stuff out and she said yes but we still have limits, I thought that was stupid as shit.

That's ridiculous. I've never heard of a limit on a blowout item. Completely defeats the purpose.

Bad press if it comes up that you have a “cache” of ammo was recently purchased from them right before you go on a rampage. They just want to display their “common sense” gun control ideas.

You're giving them way too much credit - no way they put that much thought into it.

Perhaps I’ve been in corporate America too long and see every large company decision from that perspective. Or perhaps you’re just right.

I remember back when gas stations and convenience stores sold guns and ammo.
This really hurts us as a nation to have so many retailers fold from the pressure of the anti-2A people.

I think in the case of Freddies it was a dollar reason they are getting out of guns and ammo. They stated how much they sold in firearms in a year ( iforget the ammount now) and I did the math and it only equiled a little over a grand in sales per store per week. Take in the labor and space they could use that space to make more money.
