PPS43-C for $530, any thoughts on this gun? Might be fun/different (I like different). Ammo runs about .28 - .34 per round which isn't too bad.

They are interesting guns, a buddy has one. It's just a shame the dirt cheap ammo is gone....Like most Combloc surplus.

7.62 is the only reason I don't get one. The 9mm variant though...

I have one. I’ve shot it ... twice? Maybe once.

I have an approved Form 1 to SBR it. Still haven’t done it.

So yeah, they’re cool and interesting ... but I didn’t find it a whole lot of fun to shoot, or not as much fun as I anticipated anyhow.

If you like the historical factor as I do, great. Otherwise I’d spend that money on a CZ Scorpion or something like that.

Scorpion more money. No history. I've got a bunch of 9mm carbines (sub2k, high-point, micro roni (on the way).

It’s just heavy, clunky, unrefined ... something like that?

If this was a modern gun, most of us wouldn’t even consider buying it for that much money. It’s the historical aspect that makes it interesting.

A 9mm swap isnt too hard. The germans did it using mp40 mags and a different barrel, if i remember right. 9mm will feed just fine out of the original mags though, so i believe all you really need is a barrel(double check first, it's been years since i researched it)

The price of the ammo is not a consideration. .28-.34 per round is not bad, and it's not like it's going to be an every day always shooting it type of gun. Probably a couple of boxes per year. Just think it would be interesting. Like I said I have plenty of modern 9mm carbines. Looking at the historic factor, like a mosin. Is $530 a good price? (I know 10 years ago I could have gotten one for $50)
