Kudos to Burris Optics!

Last summer I accidentally dropped my EDC G19 (yeah, shit happens!) and smashed my Burris Fastfire III 8 MOA.
:facepalm2:
I have tried to straighten the bent lens "hood"... Nope, no luck: the sight didn't hold zero.

So, since it was completely dead, I opened its guts - out of curiosity. :wink05:
Then I threw it into my drawer and forgot about it for a while.

In December I went to Burris site to see if they have New Year specials or some newer model of Fastfire, or if they can repair my broken one for a reasonable charge.
Then, I clicked their Customer Service page and, oh, Lordy...

Still being skeptical about my particular case, I emailed them, told them what I have done to the poor little Fastfire and... got an RMA shortly. :whatthe:
I shipped them dead sight and one month later, yesterday, I have got a brand spanking new Fastfire III - sealed in a box, with all extras!
I immediately installed it on my G19, took it to the range and zeroed it with less than 10 shots.

I've had the same service as well from Burris :thumbsup2:, as well as Leupold and Swarovski.

Nikon told me to pack sand about a scope that got dropped, and a pair of high dollar binoculars that wouldn't stay tight at the hinge.

Fuck Nikon
