Needed a holster for a hike on 8/5. Ordered up a holster and mag carrier from these guys on 7/23. Had good reviews, looked good, figured why not? Shipping said 3 days, not bad. Well, by 8/4 their website still said my order was "in processing", so I bought one at Cabelas and requested the order be cancelled. Got an email the next day saying it had been delivered 8/3, and quoted plus directed me to an FAQ page that said I needed to wait 3 days to see if it showed up, blaming the carrier on marking packages as delivered early.
Fine...
Waited the 3 days, nada. Checked website again, shipping now says 3-10 days... still passed that deadline, so whatever.
Asked again for a refund, mentioned that I had also purchased lost package insurance (because it was $1 extra and I have sketch neighbors and a shitty USPS driver), so they should honor that
Received this as a reply:

Hi Norman,

We hope that all is well with you. Our team was able to check on this further and unfortunately, we are unable to provide a refund on an order that is marked as delivered. The customer requested to cancel (Aug 4th) the order AFTER it was marked delivered (Aug 3rd) The customer is basing this off of the order status that reflects "processing" however, we have confirmation that it has been delivered, the order status has not been updating and we can confirm this with other orders as well and the customer should not refer to that website status but rather on the confirmed tracking number.

Tracking Number: 420985849374869903505239186427

We can send a replacement or we will have to wait until it is received back to provide a refund.

Now, this is the first time I was EVER given a tracking number. On top of that, their website STILL shows my order as processing, and note that the "cancel" option is available, which is how I started this in the first place!
(See screen shot from a few min ago).

I am having my credit card company reverse the charges and I will never do business with this company again as this policy is ridiculous, especially considering I purchased their insurance!

Buyer Beware!

Well, shit. That's aggravating!

OK, so they can't cancel the order. Fine. Will they just give you your money based on the lost package insurance?

I cut off the end of their email where they state they cannot send a refund until they get the item returned...

That's tough, when the package has been lost. :rofl9:

Fixed it in the OP just now.
They offered a replacement, but it is not going to do me any good anymore as I was forced to purchase a different holster already.
Beyond frustrated

Also I should add, the site makes it seem like these were made to order, but they are not. You say what gun you have, they say you need size "x" and thats what they ship. Its not a custom deal.

It sounds like you're doing the right thing with the credit card. Contest the charge, get your money, and set the stress behind you.

That's f'ing aggravating.
