I've followed a similar path.
A couple of years ago I bought one of these:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/RFID-Blocking- ... ns-Wallet/
It was pretty nice, I was happy with it. But I felt a little guilty for buying the cheap knockoff, so after I had used it enough to conclude that this was the style I wanted, I sprung for the Ridge Titanium with the money clip and that's what I've been using for maybe a year and a half.
Honestly, I loved both wallets. The Ridge is definitely cooler, but I'm not sure it's really worth $95 more. No regrets on my part, but at least in the short term they were both good.
I kept my fat old leather wallet, and it rides in my car know with the "non-essential" stuff. (Backup credit cards, RSO card, Cabelas card, C&R FFL, that kind of stuff.) So if I ever really need those things (and I hardly ever do), I can retrieve them from the car. The only things that ride in the Ridge are a few folded bills in the money clip, and then my credit card, debit card, driver's license, CPL and medical insurance card. Costco card . . . hell, I just use the app now and flash the screen when I go in.
Yeah . . . it felt REALLY good to lighten that load.

My reading of the statute is that you have to have the physical license:zombie66 wrote:Mr. Q wrote:Off topic: the mention of slim wallets, digital cards, and concealed carry make me think of a question. So I would recommend carrying it, even though it's just an infraction if you don't, and who knows if you'll get a ticket if you have a digital copy. I've never had anyone ask for mine.
