We have a few chrome domes living here on the site. Some are natural and some get the blade(s). I decided to try something new and take a break from using a razor. Pitbull Skull Shaver
My review: So far I've only tried it dry and it works but you have to do it somewhat slow. I'll add more after I try it with shaving foam. I think gel shaving cream might be to thick to use, although I probably could add more water to thin it out some. But yes, it does what it's suppose to. BTW, don't pay attn to the prices you might see. I got mine off of fleabay as an open box, which turned out to be brand new, for about half the price.

Let us know how it works as you try it more, Rick.
I used the Headblade that you recommended for quite a while and was happy with it, but lately I’ve just been lazy and I hit my whole face and head (well, not the WHOLE head hehe) with the clippers once a week.
I have that exact same model and I love it, keeps a good charge and has not failed me yet.
I just got the 5 blade head for mine a few months ago and will never go back to the head that is in your pic (I think that is the carver blade)
I use mine dry and and it works great, per the directions you are supposed to dip the blade in water and turn the razor on but I have found that taking the head apart and using my air compressor to blow out the hair works way better.

If you don’t mind having shark skin (smooth one way, rough the other), this works perfect. I use mine in the shower with shaving cream to avoid scalp irritation.
Battery life is good for about three weeks, but I’ve noticed cutting power dwindles around 20%
Cleaning and maintenance is easy peasy. I prefer the feel of a bladed shave, but have relegated myself to using this since it irritates my scalp much less than razors and it’s fairly quick, just 5mins or so in the shower gets me shaved.
@Zombie, link to the 5-blade head you’re using? Thanks!

I wanted to add that I never expected this shaver to give me as close a shave as a razor or straight razor, but it definitely LOOKS like the same.
Some people really like the full smooth of a razor, but living in PNW, I wear a ton of beanies. I tested the “beanie-grip” after a good shave with this razor and it’s perfect. So now I don’t have to worry about my beanies slipping off after first shave and have to wait a full 24 hours post shave for my beanie to stay on lol

I wanted the Platinum model but the wife wanted me to start with this one to see if I would like using it before dropping the big coin on the uber fancy model.

I couldn't tell the difference between the models except for the colors.
